Egri Csillag 2024

Hungarians usually highly proud of their history, so are we. The well known Hungarian, the Bull’s blood has a big cultural background, especially in Eger. A few years now, some of the greatest wineries decided to make a white pair for this dry red one. The idea became a great success, we even have a festival for it every spring, where the wineries introduce their newest Egri Csillag to the interested audience. The light green color comes with an intense flowery fragrance, which makes this dry white wine even more unique. The fruity taste determined by Tramini and Zenit, and the Királyleányka with Sauvignon Blanc care for the acids nicely and keep them inside the aromas. We are using reductive methods along the whole process, in the hope of a greater wine-tasting experience. This complexity shows itself best next to fish- or poultry-based dishes, with light salads, cooled to 8-10°C.
