The horse farm, an integral part of the family estate, is located right next to the winery. The farm is known for its free-range approach — all our animals are raised on pasture. But the area offers more than endless meadows; it includes an indoor riding hall, obstacle course, round pen, and a safe playground for the smallest visitors.
Over the years, a close-knit community has formed with riders from Eger and the surrounding region, allowing the area to continually evolve and stay aligned with the latest trends.
The riding center and equestrian tourism is led by Ildikó Thummerer, daughter of the winery’s founders. Her lifelong passion for horses began with equestrian vaulting as a child and later she competed in show jumping for many years. She earned a degree in Agricultural Engineering, alongside qualifications as a riding instructor and equestrian tour guide, while also building her own teaching career. With over 20 years of experience, she organizes tours and lessons with unwavering passion and joy.
The core motto of the horse farm is development and the acquisition of safe riding skills. Riders of all ages and backgrounds can find horses suited to their experience, size, and abilities. Riding is also a form of soul-soothing therapy — in addition to forming a close bond with animals, we also offer sessions focused on improving coordination. We welcome even the youngest riders, from age 3, for pre-school programs and attention-enhancing riding sessions.
