2019 National Wine Competition

Between 21 and 22 May the 40th National Wine Competition was organized where there was 262 wineries with 900 items. This year it was possible to enter in 6 different categories:

1. white – 394 items
2. red – 292 items
3. rosé – 81 items
4. natural sweet / wine speciality of Tokaj – 79 items
5. champagne – 39 items
6. sparkling wine – 15  items

   These wines were criticized by-approximately-60 judges. The awards of the National Wine Competition 2019 were given on the 25th June. Our winery won 2 gold and 2 silver medals which were taken over by our main winemaker, József Lamport.
